Bevi Cortez

Nurse Practitioner

Bevi Wilson is a Nurse Practitioner who joined the Institute of Precision Pain Medicine in May
of 2023. She attained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2017 and gained experience as an
Emergency Department Nurse. Later, she pursued a Master of Science in Nursing - Family Nurse Practitioner at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi, completing it in 2021.

 

Her previous experience as a Nurse Practitioner includes Primary Care and Nephrology. She is
certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and holds memberships in various organizations such as the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, Coastal Bend Advanced Practice Nurses and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
 

She believes it is important to consider both medical conditions and personal circumstances.
Emotional and psychological challenges can arise from chronic pain. She treats her patients with compassion and provides emotional support at times of need which helps create a safe and empathetic environment.

 

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Bevi is a loving and dedicated wife and mother. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading, being outside, traveling and the beach.
